She received her medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed a residency at the Naval Medical Center.
When not working, Dr. Demchak enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 grown sons. She is a published writer, having written several plays and a short story that received an honorable mention in the Cotton Alley Writers' Review.
