I started my career as a nurse in pediatrics but wanted to care for the whole family, so I went back to school for my family nurse practitioner training.
I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner.
I strive to make each patient and family feel cared for and special, giving each the time they need to voice concerns and ask questions.
I’m especially drawn to teaching, not only for my patients and their families, but I’m currently a preceptor for advanced practice provider students.
I received my master’s degree in nursing and my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Frontier Nursing University.
Outside of work, I love to spend time with my husband, three children and eight grandchildren. We enjoy boating and fishing, and I love cooking and baking. Two of my children work in health care. One daughter is an occupational therapist, and another is a midwife.
