Hurley is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who specializes in medical oncology with a particular focus on breast cancer.
Hurley enjoys using care, compassion, empathy and encouragement to make a difference in her patients’ health and well-being. She is inspired to care for others because she believes every person is valuable, worthy of dignity and respect.
She is involved in ongoing clinical trials in the Breast & Surgical Oncology Department at Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute. She helped write the grant for COVID-19: Continuity in Care for Patients with Metastatic Breast Cancer.
She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) as a family nurse practitioner at the University of South Carolina.
In her rare free moments, she can be found wrangling her 3 busy kids, playing tennis, reading a good book or cooking delicious meals for her family to enjoy.
