Sydney Johnson is a board-certified physician assistant who focuses on pain management.
Her field provides opportunities to help patients improve their quality of life in meaningful and measurable ways. Chronic pain can be debilitating and affect every aspect of a person's physical and emotional well-being. Johnson values building relationships with patients and working with them to devise treatment plans to regain function, reduce reliance on medications and return to the activities that matter most to them.
She received her bachelor’s degree in exercise science at the University of South Carolina and her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Outside of work, Johnson loves spending time with family and friends. She enjoys visiting the beach with her husband and being outdoors with their golden retriever. Johnson also enjoys cross stitching, shopping, home improvement projects and trying new restaurants.
