In-person visits onlyBurris is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who specializes in urgent care. She is skilled in wound drainage, laceration repair, small joint dislocation reduction, casting and splinting, foreign body removal, nail plate removal and burn management.
Burris received her master’s degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and completed the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship at Atrium Health. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Burris completed a clinical externship providing care and education to families in rural clinics on the Yucatan Peninsula.
