I love children and babies. Caring for them is a privilege. I’m a parent, and I want to help parents navigate through their journeys as well.
As a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner, I specialize in neonatal intensive care, including infants that are premature, have extremely low birth weight and with congenital anomalies (birth defects).
I value using my critical skills to assess clinical cases and implement treatment plans to improve outcomes for my patients.
I’ve served as co-chair of the Atrium Health Resource Nurse Team Committee. The article I co-authored on Congenital and Postnatal Cytomegalovirus received the Academy of Neonatal Nursing/Springer Publishing Writing Award.
I received my master’s degree in nursing with a neonatal nurse practitioner concentration at East Carolina University.
I’m married with three children. Outside of work, I love being in nature, hiking, working out, watching movies and documentaries, volunteering, part-time homeschooling and reading.
