Biography

“My goal is to do my best every day to help infants and children grow to their maximum potential.”

Dr. Pineiro is board certified in pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition. He specializes in inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), feeding difficulties, video capsule endoscopies, wireless esophageal pH testing, stricture dilation and enteral feeding access.

He has been recognized as a Charlotte magazine Top Doctor for multiple years.

Dr. Pineiro received his medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico, completed a residency at David Grant USAF Medical Center and completed a fellowship at the University of Florida.

Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife, 2 fantastic sons and 4 grandchildren. He loves to read Latin American novels and watch international movies. Besides medicine, his lifelong passion has been bicycling.
