Biography
“I believe all patients should have access to specialty care. I enjoy the opportunity to help treat and manage inflammatory conditions, bringing my patients greater functionality and relief of pain. I appreciate the lasting relationships maintained in the treatment and management of rheumatic disease.”
Dr. Baker is board certified in rheumatology and internal medicine. He specializes in the treatment and management of arthritis, autoimmune disorders and inflammatory conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, gout, lupus, Sjogren's, myositis, vasculitis, osteoarthritis and soft tissue rheumatism.
He received his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency at the University of South Carolina. He completed a rheumatology fellowship at the University of Virginia.
When he is not working, Dr. Baker enjoys photography, spending time with his family and traveling.
