In-person & video visitsDr. Dawson is board certified in neurology with a specialty in clinical neurophysiology (the diagnosis and treatment of conditions of the nervous system). He has a clinical interest in neuromuscular disorders, botulinum toxin injections for dystonia and migraines, and electromyography (EMG), a procedure that evaluates the muscles and the nerve cells that control them.
Dr. Dawson received his medical degree and completed a residency and fellowship at the University of Virginia.
