Dr. Banas is board certified in internal medicine. She has a special interest in diabetes management, cardiovascular health, women’s health and minor office procedures.
She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She feels many serious illnesses are preventable, and the focus of medicine should be on prevention and wellness.
Dr. Banas received her medical degree at Comenius University and completed residency at Henry Ford Health System.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and 3 daughters.
