Angela Abernethy, MPT, CBIS, is the lead physical therapist at Carolinas Rehabilitation Mt. Holly. Angela has been a practicing physical therapist for 11 years, and 7 of those years have been at Carolinas Rehabilitation Mt. Holly in the outpatient department. Angela completed her undergraduate degree at Appalachian State University in exercise science and then obtained her masters in physical therapy at Winston-Salem State University. Angela has been working with amputee patients since the beginning of her career as a physical therapist, and of recent, she has been working on developing an exercise program to help osseointegration patients both pre- and post-surgery.
