Dawn Swiderski, MSN, RN, CCRN-K, CHSE, FSSH
Dawn Swiderski leads simulation services at Carolinas Simulation Center (CSC) and Atrium Health focused on patient safety, education, research, assessment, and systems integration. She has been with Atrium Health since 1996 and started the simulation center since inception in 2007. With over 15 years of simulation experience, she has advanced CSC to achieve international prominence for simulation best practices and dual accreditation by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) and the American College of Surgeons. Dawn became a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator in 2012 and was inducted as a Fellow of the SSH Academy in 2020. She is a member of the SSH Council for Accreditation, Chair of the Quality Subcommittee, and a lead accreditation site reviewer.
