Supporting families in their individual goals means supporting them however they decide to feed their baby. Although some people think lactation consultants don’t like formula or believe breastfeeding is the only way to go, Gail says this isn’t true. “Everyone’s breastfeeding journey looks different, and we support you no matter what you choose,” she says.
When she’s not seeing patients, Gail is busy traveling the world, crocheting or solving a word puzzle.
