Biography
Troy Leo, MD, FACC is Vice-Chief of Adult Cardiology at Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute. Throughout his career, Dr. Leo has focused on quality improvement, enhancing the patient care experience, and the importance of medical leadership. He has held leadership roles at every institution he has been a part of and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Leo has published and presented at national meetings about the methods for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. He was chosen as a member of the Community Building Initiative - Leaders Under 40 program which brings local leaders together to build a better Charlotte. Inspired by this program, he works to understand and improve the social determinants of health that affect our community. Dr. Leo is currently obtaining his Master in Healthcare Management at Harvard University to further his passions and to improve care for all.
