Applicants must be citizens of the United States or hold permanent resident status. The college does not issue or verify authorizations for student visas.  International Applicants must have independent means for achieving Unites States residency or citizenship. 

International Applicants and those for whom English is a second language must submit a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score as a part of the application packet by the application deadline. A score of 220 (computer version) or 83 (iBT: Internet based) is required.  Contact TOEFL (school code 5130). The college reserves the right to require the specified TOEFL score for any applicant when language proficiency is an issue.

Applications with foreign transcripts are required to present an official transcript evaluation from one of the agencies listed below which would include all the courses attempted, credit, and grades earned.  The college recommends the following sources for international transcript evaluation and requires the use of these sources for applicants to Clinical Laboratory Sciences programs.

Clinical Laboratory Science Applicants who hold an international baccalaureate degree must take at least 12 semester hours at an accredited U.S. baccalaureate academic institution before application can be considered. The Dean of Student Affairs (or Admissions Coordinator) and the program director will determine acceptable courses.
