Centering Pregnancy, prenatal care in a group setting

We offer Centering Pregnancy, a program of Atrium Health Women’s Care. By joining, you will attend sessions with a small group of pregnant women due around the same time as you. In addition to individual prenatal assessments, you'll have personalized support, education and resources throughout your pregnancy.

According to American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists (ACOG), group prenatal care can:

• Enhance pregnancy knowledge
• Better prepare you for labor and delivery
• Lead to improved individual health and birth outcomes
• Help you start breastfeeding

We customize each session based on your group’s interests and needs. Examples of discussion topics are childbirth preparation, nutrition, exercise, breastfeeding, birth control and stress management.
