Dana Patti, IBCLC
Dana Patti, IBCLC, has been with Atrium Health since 2021. She’s a lactation consultant at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Charlotte Pediatrics in SouthPark.
For Dana, becoming a lactation consultant was personal. She says, “I felt driven to become a lactation consultant after watching my sister pump for her premature twins and then having my own challenges breastfeeding my late preterm daughter.”
In addition to providing breastfeeding education and helping moms navigate challenges like low milk supply, Dana enjoys working with the whole family to achieve their feeding goals. “Not only do I get to be around newborns, but I get to work with moms and dads, see their interaction with their new bundle and help make the breastfeeding process simpler for all,” she says, adding, “The joy on a mom’s face is extremely rewarding!”
When she’s not seeing patients, Dana loves watching her daughter play volleyball.
