Pancreatic cancer tests and diagnosis

If pancreatic cancer is suspected, your doctor will take a thorough medical history and perform a physical exam to look for any suspicious masses or swelling. If needed, your doctor may recommend several tests to diagnose or rule out the disease.

Pancreatic cancer diagnostic options include:

  • Cholangiopancreatography
  • PET scan
  • Angiography
  • Biopsy
