  • Since 2018, our ERAS® program has enabled us to:

    • Reduce our median length of stay from 5 days to 3 days. Onethird of our patients go home by postoperative day 2 and 62% go home by day 3.
    • Achieve readmission rates at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center that are 60% lower than benchmark, placing us in the top decile in the nation. (Source: Premier)
