Biography

“I strongly believe in a patient-centered, individualized approach to rehabilitation. Each patient has their own unique set of goals for their recovery, and I believe in working together with the patients and their families to identify and work toward these goals. I enjoy getting to know what makes each patient unique. This allows me to continue providing the best possible person-centered care as they evolve throughout their rehabilitation process.”

Dr. Darji is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and brain injury medicine. He has clinical interests in traumatic brain injuries, disorders of consciousness, strokes, neurorehabilitation, concussions and spasticity management.

He has lectured at national conferences and been invited to give grand rounds on topics related to brain injuries. He has also written multiple book chapters on topics related to brain injury medicine.

Dr. Darji was drawn to physical medicine and rehabilitation because it combines his love for neurosciences with the ability to help patients regain meaningful function after injuries and illnesses. His passion is advocating for patients with brain injuries to receive the support and services they need to reintegrate successfully into the community.

Dr. Darji received his bachelor’s degree in neuroscience at the University of Michigan and completed his medical training at Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.
