Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Atrium Health Levine Children’s Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship at Carolinas Medical Center in vibrant Charlotte, NC. Two fellowship positions per year will be offered to qualified candidates for completion of a two-year fellowship program.
We seek to develop exceptional, compassionate, well-rounded Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) physicians who provide excellent patient care across a variety of clinical settings and are committed to life-long learning and systems improvement. Our PHM Fellowship will focus on developing clinical leaders in PHM with a propensity for clinical practice and a strong academic foundation in patient safety and quality and systems improvement. We will foster a passion for using this knowledge to help improve health disparities and outcomes for all children. Our faculty and fellows will embody our institutional mission of improving health, elevating hope and advancing healing for all.
We offer a wide variety of clinical settings amongst our hospital network, but the majority of clinical time will be spent at Levine Children’s Hospital, the largest and most comprehensive children’s hospital in the region. Get to know Levine Children’s Hospital!
Within ERAS our program institution is Carolinas Medical Center. The Carolinas Medical Center and Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship is an ACGME-accredited program and participates in the match. Applications are completed through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and applicants should register with the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). The application process opens in the beginning of July. After completion of the application in its entirety through ERAS, these will be reviewed and interviews will be scheduled.
