  • Where: 2140 South Blvd., Charlotte
  • What you’ll find: Produce, meat, seafood, eggs, dairy, prepared foods, coffee, home and bath products. Ask about cooking classes and look for food trucks, too.
Matthews Farmers Market

  • Hours: 8 a.m.-Noon Saturdays
  • Where: 188 N. Trade St., Matthews
  • What you’ll find: This growers-only market promises produce and other offerings that are grown within 50 miles of the market. There’s also live music and cooking demos using items found at the market.
Davidson Farmers Market

  • Hours: 9 a.m.-noon Saturdays, November-March; 8 a.m.-noon April-October
  • Where:The Village Green, downtown Davidson
  • What you’ll find: This producer-only market offers up items sourced within 100 miles of the market. Look for honey, dairy, eggs, meat, bread, prepared foods, pasta and more. There’s also live music, chef demos, special events and the occasional food truck.
