We’re located in Pendleton Village in Fort Mill. Parking is available in the lot at the front of our practice.

You can check in and wait in our lobby area, or your car – wherever you’re most comfortable.

When it’s time for your child’s appointment, a nurse will greet you and guide you through our office.

All our exam rooms are kid-friendly and equipped with the latest technology to provide the best care.

In addition to preventative care and sick visits, we have a private exam room for minor procedures.

How is a membership-based practice different from a traditional pediatric practice?

The biggest difference between a membership-based practice and a traditional practice is size. Membership-based practices are typically smaller, with fewer patients. See the question below to learn why this can be beneficial.

What are the benefits of joining a membership-based primary care practice?

Because we see fewer patients, our pediatricians can spend more time with your family during visits. This means appointments won’t feel rushed, allowing for a relaxed environment to get all your questions and concerns answered. It also gives us a chance to really know your family and offer highly personalized care for your child.

How does my child become a member?

You’ll pay an annual membership fee. The membership fee is not covered by insurance.

Can I use my health savings account (HSA) to pay the membership fee?

You may be able to use your HSA to pay the membership fee. Call customer service for your HSA and ask if your plan may be used for membership-based care. The customer service number can usually be found on the back of your HSA card.

Do you see patients for yearly checkups and routine care?

Yes. We follow all guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics, including checkups, immunizations, routine care and sick visits as needed.

Can I call or text my child’s doctor?

Yes. On weekdays until 7 p.m. and on weekends from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., you can reach your care team by calling or texting. You can also choose the way you want to communicate – by phone, email or secure text.

Can I reach my child’s doctor when the office is closed?

After office hours and on weekend, your calls will be answered by our after-hours partners, who will provide the expert care your child needs and alert your child’s care team as needed.

Do you offer virtual visits?

Yes. For your convenience, we offer virtual medicine and can connect with you online to determine the best next steps for your child’s care.

Do you make referrals to specialists?

Yes. Specialist referrals will be made as needed for your child’s care.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. We accept most medical insurance, and the billing in our practice functions just like any other pediatrician’s office. All costs associated with medical services are billed to your insurance company.

Will I pay for office visits?

Your insurance will be billed for your doctor’s visit. According to your health insurance plan, you may have to pay a copay or deductible at the end of your appointment.

Do I have access to my medical records?

You can access portions of your child’s electronic medical record online with MyAtriumHealth. That includes things like their medical history, test results and immunization records. You may also get a copy of your child’s medical record at our office.
