Ojeda is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She specializes in bipolar disorder, PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder and substance abuse disorder. She works in outpatient medication services at Atrium Health Behavioral Health, a facility of Carolinas Medical Center.
She received her master’s degree in psychiatric nursing at Florida International University.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children. She loves to read and enjoys all genres including science, history, biographies, sci-fi, poetry and philosophy. She also enjoys knitting, crocheting and hiking in the mountains with her Jack Russell terrier.
