Dr. Slocumb is board certified in psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry. She specializes in treating children and adolescents with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) as well as mood and psychotic disorders.
As a student, her volunteer work with children who had mental health needs motivated her to study the impact of mental health on day to day functioning and general physical health.
Dr. Slocumb received her medical degree at Mercer University. She completed a residency and a fellowship at Augusta University.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, interior decorating, true-crime podcasts and spending time with her family.
