Biography

“I love executive health, because I’m afforded the time to have meaningful conversations with my patients and to really understand them on a deeper level. Together, we can produce the absolute best plan for their health.”

Dr. Redden is board certified in internal medicine. She specializes in preventive care focused on acute and chronic illnesses and general internal medicine.

She is the medical director at Atrium Health Perspective Health & Wellness - Executive Health Kenilworth and the laboratory director for Perspective Health & Wellness - Executive Health Kenilworth and SouthPark. She is the former assistant chief of medicine at Wake Forest Baptist Health, now known as Atrium Health, and was named a doctor of excellence in the Internal Medicine Residency Program.

She is certified as a medical director of a moderately-complex clinical laboratory by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA).

Her family owned a fitness center growing up, so health and wellness have been part of her life for as long as she can remember. Choosing a career in medicine seemed like a natural fit, and she was drawn to osteopathic medicine for its philosophy that a person is a unit of body, mind and spirit.

Her passion is helping patients find balance in their busy lives so they can protect their most precious asset: their health. She feels prevention of disease is paramount for longevity and optimal function.

She received her degree in osteopathic medicine at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a residency at Wake Forest University.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and daughter. A lot of their weekends are busy with their kids’ sports, but they enjoy traveling together when they can, and she loves a good meal with friends.
