Atrium Health’s Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship in Pediatric Hospital Medicine is structured to provide focused education for nurse practitioners and physician assistants to become skilled clinicians, scholarly innovators and leaders in this growing field.

With instruction from a dedicated physician and APP faculty, fellows will:

  • Engage in specialty-specific didactics and case conferences
  • Serve as a leader and a member of a multidisciplinary team to care for children with simple and complex medical conditions
  • Participate in a scholarly project, working with a service line mentor to generate new knowledge and scholarship in quality or performance enhancement

Comprehensive Curriculum

Our curriculum includes the rotations and electives to enable fellows to become proficient in the management of acute and chronic pediatric illnesses while being exposed to a wide range of pediatric medical pathologies.
