Our program offers a track record of over 40 years of spiritual care education, cutting edge healthcare contexts for your learning and an outstanding, pluralistic faculty dedicated to your professional and personal growth.
Since 1982, the Atrium Health ACPE-Accredited CPE Center has had a rich history of equipping students for chaplaincy and other forms of service and ministry through the action-reflection learning model. Here you’ll practice chaplain visits in our diverse clinical settings, and then engage in reflection on those encounters with your peers and educators. This process will deepen your self-awareness and empower you with high-level spiritual care skills.
