Skalsky is a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN). She focuses on routine care for women from adolescence through menopause, birth control counseling, STD treatments, infertility and bladder control problems.
As a former labor and delivery nurse, she became motivated to obtain training that would enable her to provide more specialized care for women.
Skalsky received her nurse practitioner training at Kent State University.
She and her husband have 4 children. They stay busy with running, yoga and traveling abroad to multiple countries and continents.
