“I chose to enter family medicine because I wanted to help patients with a holistic approach that takes physical, mental and spiritual health into account.”
Dr. Thomas is board certified in family medicine. She has an interest in the full spectrum of family medicine, including inpatient care, acute problems, chronic disease management, in-office procedures, prenatal care and vaginal deliveries. She is a professor at Atrium Health Primary Care Cabarrus Family Medicine Kannapolis.
She comes to work daily to try to share the love that Jesus lived out – unconditional, teaching and patient.
Dr. Thomas received her medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Her family loves camping, hiking, rock climbing, and playing sports like soccer. They also love to cook and read together. She and her husband are teaching their kids to care for the planet and to embrace diversity.
