Biography
I became a physician because I have always been fascinated by science and how the human body works. As a child, I had close friends living with a chronic disease, and I wanted to find ways to help them feel better and live healthier lives. Those early experiences inspired me to pursue a career in medicine and care for children and families. What motivates me every day is seeing my patients grow and thrive and having the opportunity to support families through every stage of their child’s development. I hope to make a positive difference by brightening my patients’ days and working hard to find the best ways to help them.
My approach to care starts with listening. I believe every child is unique, and their care plan should reflect their individual needs. When you visit me, you can expect a physician who will work together with you, answer your questions and partner with your family to make informed decisions about your child’s health.
I am board certified in pediatrics and am a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. I am also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. I enjoy caring for children of all ages and helping families navigate their child’s health with confidence and support.
Some highlights of my professional experience include:
- Serving as a mentor and preceptor for medical students and pediatric residents
- Supporting the education and development of future physicians
- Conducting medical research at the National Institutes of Health
Teaching and mentoring have been especially meaningful parts of my career. I enjoy sharing knowledge with the next generation of health care professionals while continuing to learn and grow myself. My experience in medical research has also strengthened my commitment to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care for my patients.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also love traveling and exploring new places whenever I have the opportunity. Running is one of my favorite ways to stay active and maintain balance in my life. These activities help me recharge so I can bring energy, focus and compassion to the families I serve.
I look forward to getting to know you and your family and partnering with you to help your child live a healthy, happy life.
