Dr. Gentry is board certified in family medicine and specializes in pediatric care and sports medicine. She is the team physician for Northwest Cabarrus High School.
She loves taking care of the whole family and building lasting relationships with families. She likes the variety that family medicine offers and appreciates the ability to care for many conditions.
Dr. Gentry had a prolonged illness at age 6 and decided then that she wanted to be a doctor like the ones who cared for her.
She received her medical degree at East Carolina University and completed her residency at Cabarrus Family Medicine.
Dr. Gentry, her husband and 3 young boys love to spend time together hiking, camping, fishing and golfing. She enjoys the outdoors and all sports and is a University of North Carolina Tar Heels fan. She volunteers in the children's department of her local church.
