EMS Night Out is a quarterly educational event sponsored by MedCenter Air for pre-hospital and hospital staff aimed at addressing current trends in patient care or transport environment.
This program allows time to interact with MedCenter Air crews and includes an expert lecturer on the chosen topic, two hours of Continuing Education Units (CEUs), food and drinks, giveaways, aircraft display, and presentation of the Backboard Award.

This award is given to a provider or group who demonstrates the EMS core values and beliefs for their community and/or functions above the call of duty in times of crisis. Winners are recognized at EMS Nights Out, and their names appear on a plaque outside of the Trauma Room at Carolinas Medical Center Emergency Department.
