Dining Options at Levine Children's Hospital

For mealtimes, patients can order their favorite choices from the menu, or they can receive a standard, well-balanced tray. Parents and guardians are welcome to help themselves to the free food carts that round daily for breakfast and lunch. Each family can also pick up a $5 discount ticket from their nurse's station each day, which is good in The Market Café or the X-ray Café. You are welcome to eat at any dining location or bring your meals back to enjoy in your child's room.

We also have numerous dining and restaurant options located in Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital and adjacent buildings, including Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, Medical Center Plaza and Levine Cancer Institute.

The Market Café

The Market Café is a full-service cafeteria with quick, prepared food as well as made-to-order food options. Located on the 3rd floor of Carolinas Medical Center, you will need your visitor’s badge to get back through the doors of Levine Children's Hospital. There are several dining options with various times of operation.

Open every day: 6 a.m. to 3 a.m. (holiday hours may vary)

• Breakfast: 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
• Lunch/Dinner: 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
• Grab N' Go: 6 a.m. to 3 a.m.
• Available serving station options may vary.

X-ray Café

The X-ray Café has kid-friendly options, hamburgers, salads and prepared foods. The X-ray Café is located on the 1st floor of Levine Children's Hospital.

Open Monday to Friday: 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

• Breakfast: 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
• Lunch/Dinner: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Instaeat orders*: 11a.m. to 7:30 p.m. – can be picked up or delivered to designated drop-off spots

Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Closed on major holidays.

*Instaeat is an app downloadable on iOS or Android devices. You just need to select Atrium - Levine Children's Hospital as your location.

Panera Bread

Panera Bread offers breakfast, sandwiches, salads, coffee and more. Panera Bread is located on the 1st floor of Carolinas Medical Center. You can order from the Panera Bread app and pick up at this location.
