Ramirez is a board-certified physician assistant and doctor of medical science who specializes in internal medicine and gastroenterology, including gastrointestinal diseases and conditions, I&D (incision and drainage) lacerations, chronic disease prevention and weight loss. Additionally, he is a certified bilingual (English-Spanish) medical provider.
He wrote an article titled, "Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease," which was published in the September 2020 issue of the Lynchburg Journal of Medical Science.
He received his master’s degree at Mountain State University.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and taking photos of nature.
