Learn moreTelehealth is sometimes called telemedicine appointments, virtual visits or online doctor’s visits. The goal is to give you access to virtual care, when and where you need it.
Telehealth includes virtual visits that focus on diagnosing, treating and monitoring medical conditions. Urgent care video visits may be used for injuries and illnesses that are minor and not considered to be life-threatening.
Most people have visited a provider in person to receive urgent care, whether for a sudden, minor illness or injury. Our 24/7 urgent care video visits, available to new or existing patients without an appointment, allow you to connect with a provider using your smartphone, tablet or computer to receive care.

Sometimes getting to the doctor’s office is not an option and that is why Atrium Health primary care providers offer video visits for follow-up visits, sick visits and other types of regular care. In many ways, virtual care visits feel just like an office visit – but from the comfort of home, work or even when on vacation.
