Socioeconomic Bias: Impact on Physician Decision Making and Patient Safety

The purpose of this project is to use standardized patient encounters to determine whether physician bias towards patients of varying socioeconomic status exists, and how these biases may impact decision making, treatment, and patient outcomes.

Resident Physician Handoffs

As part of a multidisciplinary collaboration, we are conducting research focused on improving resident education and practices around patient handoffs.
