Atrium Health teammates are a key piece of our compliance culture. Without your participation, understanding and input, the organization cannot successfully maintain a culture of integrity and compliance. We need your help to make sure we do the right thing and make the right choices every day for every patient and for every teammate. No matter your role, we want you to feel comfortable that you can raise good faith concerns without fear of being disciplined or terminated for doing the right thing. Our policies prohibit disciplinary or retaliatory actions against teammates who make good faith reports. You can find detailed information on the various policies mentioned in this Code of Conduct by visiting the Compliance section of the policy database.

A Note About the Compliance Hotline

Because ethical behavior and compliance with laws and regulations are vital, we have created a Compliance Hotline. The Hotline is available to anyone on our teams who has a compliance, legal or ethical question or concern or observes violations of the Code of Conduct, our policies, laws, or regulations. When you contact the Hotline, you can remain anonymous. The Hotline is run by an independent contractor and is available 24/7. Calls are summarized and promptly sent to the Compliance department for investigation. The Hotline is not intended to replace other procedures and processes for communicating information and resolving conflicts. Continue to use established policies and procedures, including the employee grievance process and risk management concern process.

If you think there may be a problem, we need you to let us know so we can look into it. You have several options for how to report, including contacting any or all of the following:

  • Ask your leaders
  • Contact your compliance officer
  • Contact your Market Compliance Office as indicated below
