About Dr. Phillips: 
Dr. Phillips joined the Department of Family Medicine in 2008 as a clinical assistant professor and in 2019 was promoted to clinical associate professor with the UNC School of Medicine. She also serves as a preceptor for the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Her interests include pharmacotherapeutic management of anticoagulation, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hyperlipidemia and HIV/AIDS. She is published and has presented to her colleagues on the local, state, national, and international level. In her spare time, Dr. Phillips enjoys dancing, spending time with family/friends and international travel. Dr. Phillips is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority Incorporated.

About Dr. Bruckelmeyer: Dr. Bruckelmeyer joined Atrium Health in 2018 and has worked in various settings, both inpatient and outpatient, as a clinical pharmacist on Atrium Health’s Clinical Flex Team before transitioning to Clinical Coordinator of CarolinaCARE Pharmacy and Managed Care Clinical Pharmacy. Clinical interests include chronic disease states, such as diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia while focusing on managed care initiatives. Special interests include administration and workflow management.

About Dr. Brown: Dr. Brown joined the faculty in 2005. She served as the clinical care team leader at Atrium Health Biddle Point for 14 years. Dr. Brown now serves as a part-time staff pharmacist and as an adjunct professor for the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her special interests include teaching and working with underserved populations. Dr. Brown is a proud member of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical fraternity and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

About Dr. Cowgill: 
Dr. Cowgill has worked in specialty pharmacy since her graduation in 2010 and has focused her expertise in the fields of oncology and hematology. She currently serves as the clinical pharmacy manager responsible for the development and oversight of clinical services at the specialty pharmacy service within Atrium Health. Her interests include oncology, hematology and clinical research/outcomes.

Dr. Crawford joined Atrium Health in 2016 and has worked in various settings, both inpatient and outpatient, as a Clinical Coordinator in inpatient Internal Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center before transitioning to Clinical Coordinator of Myers Park Internal Medicine Clinic. She also serves as coordinator of the Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center Student Scholars Program. Clinical interests include nephrology, diabetes, anticoagulation, and transitions of care. Her special interests include teaching and working with underserved populations.

About Dr. Robinson: Dr. Robinson joined Atrium Health in 2020 as a PGY1 ambulatory care resident and transitioned into an ambulatory care role at Atrium Health Biddle Point. She currently manages disease states such as diabetes, anticoagulation, and human immunodeficiency virus, among others. Dr. Robinson enjoys teaching as well as making healthcare accessible for all patients.

About Dr. Wilkins: 
Dr. Wilkins joined Atrium Health in 1997 and has spent his entire career in ambulatory care. He currently serves as a director of pharmacy, managing ambulatory clinical pharmacy services which includes primary care, transitions of care, population health management and value-based care. Special interests include administration, leadership and practice sustainability. Clinical areas of interest include diabetes, anticoagulation, asthma, cardiac risk reduction and HIV. Dr. Wilkins is also passionate about the role lifestyle plays in chronic disease and he is certified in culinary medicine.
