The Managed Care Clinical Pharmacy (MCCP) Learning Experience is a longitudinal, mandatory rotation that is completed remotely through the Atrium Health Airport Center. Atrium Health engages in agreements for commercial and Medicare Advantage plans with payers such as Humana, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina and United HealthCare. Residents of the MCCP Learning Experience will be collaborating with the MCCP team and multidisciplinary care teams to promote high quality patient care and lowering overall healthcare cost, while meeting and exceeding quality metrics for Atrium Health’s various contracts.
