Atrium Health Cabarrus is the sponsoring medical center of Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency Program. Located in Concord, N.C., the northeast region of the Charlotte metro area, Atrium Health Cabarrus is a part of the largest healthcare system in the Carolinas and serves a five-county region. It is the only hospital in Cabarrus County, one of the fastest-growing counties in the state with a service area population of over 618,000.

The Family Medicine Residency program at Atrium Health Cabarrus provides a full scope of family medicine training in a real-world community setting. Residents benefit from flexible training tracks and Areas of Concentration allow them to pursue a wide variety of career options. Residents function as junior partners in their Family Medicine clinic home base.
