When using one of our pediatric telehealth offerings, you’ll need to be physically located in North Carolina, South Carolina or Georgia at the time of your visit.
There’s a lot of care we can provide over video, but you’ll still need to come in person for physical exams and lab work. Sometimes during your video visit, your provider will decide it’s best to see your child in person. If this happens, you won’t be charged for the video visit.
No appointment is needed for a 24/7 urgent care video visit. All you need is a strong internet connection and smartphone, tablet or computer with a microphone and camera. You might also need your insurance card and a form of photo identification.
You'll also need a MyAtriumHealth account – this is our free and secure patient portal, where you’ll start video visits, communicate with your child’s provider and request refills.
With any telehealth visit for kids, you’ll need to be their legally authorized representative if they’re under the age of 18. Teens who are age 13 and older may have their own MyAtriumHealth account. Learn more about proxy/dependent access.
Video visits are often the same price as office visits. Insurance coverage varies, and services may be subject to any applicable copays, coinsurance and deductibles within your health plan. Please call your insurance provider for more information on your specific plan coverage.
