Justin Arnall, PharmD, BCOP, FCCP About Statement: Dr. Arnall joined the Atrium Health in August 2016 following the completion of his Oncology PGY2. After a few years working in malignant hematology and cell therapy within Levine Cancer Institute, he transitioned to a comprehensive hematology specialist role within the Atrium Health Specialty Pharmacy Service. His current responsibilities include rounding on a daily basis with the inpatient hematology consult team at CMC, providing clinical support for the bleeding disorders, hematology, and oncology specialty pharmacy service lines, and peripheral support for hematology clinics across the Atrium Health Charlotte region. Professional interests include myeloproliferative neoplasm, multiple myeloma and lymphoma, classical hematology practice, bleeding disorders, factor and anticoagulation stewardship, and thrombocytopenic disorders. Honors/ Awards: Dr. Arnall has made notable contributions to multiple pharmacy and multi-disciplinary organizations and has been a contributing author on over 60 peer reviewed publications, over 80 abstracts/ poster presentations, over 20 presentations on local, regional, and national platforms, and 3 book chapters. He has also developed and led a number of clinical initiatives within the Atrium Health system. Liz Barnes, PharmD, CPP, BCACP, AAVHIVP About Statement: Dr. Barnes joined Atrium Health in 2012 as an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist for Myers Park Pharmacy, working not only in the dispensing area but also helping to manage patient care within the asthma, HIV and anticoagulation clinics. She later became the pharmacy supervisor of this location before accepting a position as the clinical lead for the HIV service line within AH Specialty Pharmacy. Jennifer Boyce, PharmD, CSP About Statement: Dr. Boyce joined the outpatient pharmacy department at Atrium Health in 2011 and transitioned to the specialty pharmacy in 2015. Lauren Downing, PharmD About Statement:Dr. Lauren Downing earned her Pharmacy Degree from the University of Florida (Go Gators!). She is the lead pharmacist for the neurology service line at AH SPS. Sarah E. Gregar, PharmD, BCCCP About Statement: I grew up in Georgia and went to UGA through the hope scholarship program for my undergrad before going to South Carolina for pharmacy school. I am glad I changed schools or else I wouldn't have met my now husband who was in the business school across the street. My love for pharmacy started when I was in high school and worked at a very small compounding pharmacy in my hometown (White, GA). I enjoy walking my cute corgi, Lizzy, and cuddling with my two cats, I love fall and everything pumpkin, and love to go to the beach as much as I can. Catherine Helms, PharmD About Statement: Dr. Helms joined Atrium in 2018 as a PGY1 pharmacy resident in the ambulatory care setting. After residency, she joined the pharmacy team at Atrium's Levine Cancer Institute and worked there for three years as a clinical staff oncology pharmacist. She transitioned to her current role at Atrium's CarolinaCARE pharmacy as the lead clinical pharmacist in July 2022 where she provides clinical support to Atrium teammates and their dependents. She specializes in managed care and her clinical interests include diabetes, obesity, pharmacoeconomics, and formulary management. In her time away from the office she enjoys traveling, hiking with her husband and dog, Thomas & Sally, and cheering on the Carolina Gamecocks! Honors/Awards: In April 2024, Dr. Helms launched a weight management team at CarolinaCARE, specializing particularly in therapeutic management of GLP-1 agonists. She is currently conducting a study with Atrium’s PGY2 Ambulatory Care resident evaluating medical and prescription costs associated with GLP-1 use. In 2020, she published her research on the risk of hepatotoxicity with trastuzumab emtansine in the journal of Therapeutic Advances in Drug Safety. Additionally, she was nominated for an Atrium Pinnacle Award by her peers in 2023. |

Kyle Osborne, PharmD, BCPS, CSP About Statement: Dr. Kyle Osborne earned his Pharmacy Degree from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy. Thuy Tran, PharmD, BCOP, CSP About Statement:I am the lead pharmacist for the adult oncology service line at Atrium Health Specialty Pharmacy Service (AH SPS). I have been with the system for over 7 years. Prior to AH SPS, I was a retail pharmacist with Walmart. During my time at Walmart, I re-evaluated the accuracy of oral dosing devices for pediatric liquid oral medications and lead the nation-wide implementation of graduated oral syringe utilization in Walmart pharmacies. I also helped initiate and optimize the Immunization and Medication Therapy Management programs for the local district.
