Eligibility
Applicants must have:
- Doctor of Pharmacy or equivalent degree from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy or a Foreign Pharmacy Examination Committee certificate from the NABP
- Eligibility for pharmacist licensure in North Carolina
- U.S. citizen or a U.S. permanent resident (i.e. have a U.S. Green Card)
- Previous research and rounding experience are preferred

- Register for the ASHP residency matching program
- Ensure eligibility for North Carolina licensure
- Submit an application for the residency program via PhORCAS
Required Application Information
- Completed PhORCAS application
- Curriculum Vitae
- Academic Transcripts
- Letter of Intent (outlining the resident's goals and why they are choosing the program at CMC)
- Three letters of recommendation
Interested applicants should complete the following:

- Standard requirements including:
- CV, pharmacy transcripts and letter of intent
- Three letters of recommendation with at least 2 of the 3 letters being from clinical rotation preceptors
- For letters of recommendation, please encourage your letter writers to include the following information:
- Number of year(s) served as a preceptor
- Average number of student(s) precepted per year
- Candidate comparison/ranking of current or past residents precepted (e.g. I have precepted around 3 residents per year for 10 years this resident is in the top 25% of those I have precepted)
