Why Atrium Health Cabarrus? Atrium Health Cabarrus offers a wide variety of rotations for residents to choose from and each highlights the role of a pharmacist as part of the medical team. While completing my APPE rotations here as a scholar student, I witnessed the dedication from preceptors to provide ongoing mentorship in a comfortable learning environment. I have no doubt that my time here as a PGY1 resident will enable me to grow professionally into a well-rounded pharmacist while achieving my personal goals.

Why Atrium Health Cabarrus? I was initially interested in Atrium Health Cabarrus because of the variety of rotations offered. During my interviews, I could see how passionate the preceptors were and felt like it would be a great place to help me become a well-rounded pharmacist. The residents and pharmacy staff were welcoming and made me feel like my experience here will be rewarding and empowering. Why Atrium Health Cabarrus? I chose Atrium Health because of the wide variety of rotation offerings and the prominent role that pharmacists have as part of the medical team. Cabarrus initially stood out to me as a program where I could hone my clinical skills and develop into a well-rounded hospital pharmacist. Additionally, the opportunity to collaborate with Atrium Health’s robust Antimicrobial Stewardship Network (ASN) throughout my training was a huge consideration for me. The program also offers 2 rotations in the Emergency department. Concord is a great location, with its own restaurants and activities. Charlotte is also a short drive away but by living in Concord you won't have to deal with the traffic driving to work.
