Why CMC in the Specialty Pharmacy Setting?:  I chose the CMC PGY1 pharmacy residency in the setting of specialty pharmacy because of its strong emphasis on ambulatory care and the opportunity to provide specialized, patient-centered services. I was initially drawn to the complexity and impact of specialty pharmacy, especially as it continues to grow and evolve. What sets this residency program apart is the versatility of specialized experiences it offers within the PGY1 year. This residency aligns perfectly with my passion for delivering high-quality care in a dynamic, outpatient setting, and I’m excited about the chance to build a strong clinical foundation while exploring diverse specialty areas.
