Welcome to Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, located in Charlotte, NC. We hope this site provides you with all the information you need about our orthopedic surgery program, our hospital and our city.

At Carolinas Medical Center, we work and learn in an academic environment supported by one of the nation's largest public hospital systems in a dynamic growing part of the country.

Our faculty includes 49 surgeons and 4 PhDs, dedicated to providing excellent patient care, performing innovative clinical and basic science research, and pursuing enthusiastic mentorship-based teaching.

Our clinical faculty is comprised of members from two orthopaedic groups, CMC and OrthoCarolina.

Our curriculum is built around the six core competencies, with special emphasis on professionalism and communication skills. We strive to provide residents the optimal environment for learning the art and science of orthopedic surgery, and hope to inspire them to become leaders in our profession.
