The Carolinas Medical Center and Levine Children's Hospital Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship (PEM) participates with the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and the application is completed through Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). The application process opens in the beginning of July. After completion of the application in its entirety through ERAS, these will be reviewed and interviews will be scheduled. Interviews will be scheduled from September through mid-October.

ERAS Requirements include:

  • Three (3) letters of recommendation
  • Residency program director letter of recommendation and verification that applicant is in good standing.
  • Official medical school transcript
  • One-page personal statement
  • Results of all tests (USMLE, and/or COMLEX)
