Thank you for visiting the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital and Carolinas Medical Center.
Our program seeks to develop leaders for the advancement of pediatric emergency medicine in both academic and community practice settings. Our fellowship builds on the unique skill set of physicians with either pediatric or emergency medicine training. The program helps fellows to assess their individual clinical acumen, research skills, teaching abilities, and administrative proficiency and to craft an individual career development experience during fellowship. A growing and diverse faculty provides the necessary mentorship to create and implement such an experience without compromising the milestones for successful board certification.
Fellowship serves as the launch point for a satisfying career providing emergency care to children, the most interesting and fun patients in medicine. Our fellowship enjoys a strong collaboration between pediatrics, emergency medicine, a community network of greater than 30 regional hospitals, anurgent care network, and many regional primary care clinics that refer to our emergency department. This strong foundation captures a wide breadth of clinical experience and rich opportunities for scholarly work.
We wish you the best of luck in your search for the right program. Welcome to your career in pediatric emergency medicine. You have made a great choice.
