The Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) fellowship is a three-year program. Our program is on a December application cycle.

Applications are accepted through Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Our program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

Application Materials

  • ERAS application
  • USMLE (Required Step 1, 2 and 3 results. Step 2 CS Exam Pass on First Try)
  • CREOG (3 most recent scores)
  • Personal statement
  • Three letters of recommendations from physicians who supervised you in clinical settings, one of which must be from a program director
  • Curriculum vitae

Criteria

Candidates with the following experience will be considered:

  • Completion of an accredited obstetrics and gynecology or urology residency program
  • Eligibility for and maintenance of medical licensure in the state of North Carolina

Selection for Interview

Applicants are selected for interview based on academic achievement, research skills, extracurricular activities and intangible qualities such as leadership skills, professionalism, attitude and commitment to a career in women’s health care and pelvic floor disorders.
